Black and
white painting according to Gerhard Richter's method
Story
These two
friends were copied from an old b/w photo
and
processed using Richter’s blurring technique
Technology
Water
soluble oil paint was used.
For the
primer, it was very heavily diluted with turpentine substitute.
This
results in rapid drying before the thinly applied portraits are smudged.
This was
done with a hard pig border brush in a horizontal direction
