Forest kitchen (wall painting)

Image description

Forest scene on woodchip wallpaper

Story

The sloping wall in the kitchen was a constant annoyance

because you couldn't attach something meaningful to it, even hang up a picture.

The idea was to paint a mural on it.

The problem was that an image could not be drawn to scale

because of the compression caused by the skew.

My solution was to project the image onto the wall using the projector

to project and thus to make the preliminary drawing.

Technology

With acrylic wall paints and acrylic paints

the painting was done.

Areas that were too dark (e.g. on the fir trees) were

softened again with white colour on a sponge.
